Zware crash en veel breuken maar hij is stabiel.

Ok, ik vindt het nodig om iedereen te informeren over Franck, dit om de roddels en geruchten te stoppen.

Franck had een zware crash op primrose corner in de superstock qualifiqatie .

Hij werd onmiddellijk behandeld door de fantastische circuit arts naast de baan .

Hij was bewusteloos, maar de vitale tekenen waren allemaal goed.

Hij werd verdoofd, aan een beademingstoestel gelegd en werd snel overgevlogen naar Belfast Royal.

De artsen hun voornaamste zorg was het hoofdletsel . De komende uren waren de moeilijkste voor ons allemaal. Na zijn scans kwam het ziekenhuis met het nieuws dat hij wel een klap op het hoofd en een blauwe plek op de hersenen had , maar niets ernstigs .

Ze vertelden ons verder over de andere verwondingen en dat ze allemaal zouden herstellen.

Hij heeft een breuk in zijn nek , die niet gevaarlijk is en zal genezen zonder invloed .

Beide armen en benen hebben breuken.

Hij heeft een klaplong die nu wordt opgeblazen en het goed doet. Sommige borstletsel zullen genezen met de tijd.

Enkele breuken vereisen een operatie, ze denken dat dit vandaag zal worden gedaan , want het is makkelijker voor het lichaam om dit te doen terwijl hij verdoofd is.

Hij zal minstens 72 uur onder verdoving blijven om zijn lichaam de kans te geven het natuurlijke genezingsproces te startten.

Hoewel al deze verschrikkelijke verwondingen, zeggen de artsen dat hij volledig zal herstellen.

Franck, staat voor een harde tijd in de komende maanden om alle rekeningen te kunnen betalen, dus ik wil een fonds oprichten, waar collega- racers en race fans financieel kunnen helpen in een tijd van nood.

Ik heb zo nauwkeurig en waarheidsgetrouw mogelijk de toestand van Franck weergegeven.

Sinds gisteravond laat is er geen verslechtering, wat goede tekens zijn.

We zullen het ziekenhuis terug spreken deze morgen voor een update .

Ok I need to let everyone know about Franck to stop the gossip and rumours.
Franck had a heavy crash at primrose corner in the superstock practise.
He was treated immediately by the fantastic circuit doctor at the track side.
He was unconscious but vital signes were all good.
He was sedated and put on a ventilator to look after him and he was soon airlifted to Belfast royal.
The doctors main concern was head injury. The next few hours were difficult for us all but the hospital came back with news after his scans and told us that he did have a knock to the head and a bruise on the brain but nothing serious.
They went on to tell us of his further injuries which they said were all revocable.
He has a break in his neck which is not dangerous and will heal with no affect.
Both arms have breaks,
Both legs have breAks,
He has a Colapsed lung with is now inflated and doin well,
Some chest injury which will heal in time.
Some breaks need surgery which they think will be done today as it's easier on the body to do while he is sedated.
He will be under sedation for at least another 72 hours to allow his body to settle into the natural healing process.

Although these are terrible injuries, doctors say he will fully recover from this.

Franck is in for a hard time in the coming months to keeps the bills paid and so on so I want to create a fund where we fellow racers and race fans can help h in his time of need and get him back out on a race bike again.

I have been as accurate and truthful as I can be and I hope I have not stepped out of line at all in telling everyone the way it really is.
As of late last night there had been no deterioration so all the signed are good.
We will speak to the hospital again this morning for an update.
